Reducing something to a series of steps is shallow analysis
It can be easy to fall into the trap of simplifying something to make it easier to understand. By doing this, you also reduce the work that goes into creating something.
Things are not only a collection of simple steps anyone would be able to follow and then become that thing.
I could argue that anything is easy as long as I make the steps as easy as possible.
thinking about this again -- does it.. matter if things are described simply?
